Backwards compatibility

ASAM: XIL: The test bench configuration option Adapt matrix layout is now automatically considered in the trace analysis for the recording format MDF4. (TTS-53317)
ControlDesk: The default platform name is no longer ds1006. For ds1006 test benches, it is necessary to refresh the test bench configuration once and set the platform name to ds1006. (TTS-51894)
Due to the adjustment of the canvas layout from a fixed number of columns to a fixed column width, displacements may occur in an existing layouts. (TTS-52638)
Ethernet: From now on network interface cards are identified by their name without MAC address and are specified that way inside the TBC. An automatic migration is not possible. Therefore all Ethernet TBCs have to be refreshed and the correct network interface card has to be selected manually. (TTS-48378)

For ecu.test calibration the XCP transport layer must be selected at the ECU access in the test configuration. (TTS-46168)
GenICam: Cameras are identified by their unique serial number instead of their own name. It may therefore be necessary to update the camera list and reselect the camera. (TTS-51921)
GenICam: The tool is available again. The vendor has fixed the temporary incompatibility. (TTS-53877)
Linux: Ubuntu version 20.04 and 22.04 will no longer be supported as of ecu.test version 2026.1. (TTS-54559)
MDF4: Due to changes of the format details, newly created packages and projects are not compatible with older ecu.test versions, if format details are used and set. This affects, e.g., manually defined recordings in the signal recording, parameter sets, AddTrace, etc. (TTS-50585)
