CalculateBrightness¶

Calculates the brightness of video frames.

A potential use case is the search for black frames in a video.

The video signal to be analyzed.

Brightness¶

The output signal that contains a brightness value (0..1) for each video frame.

• Optional: False

Parameters¶

Mask¶

Optional mask, to limit the area that is considered by the brightness calculation. The Mask object can be constructed from a mask file path. Alternatively, api.DataBrowser.BrowseMultimedia(deviceKey) can be used.
