Extracts a bit signal from a given byte signal at the given bit position.

Note: The result of the calculation is error if the input signal is no valid byte (0..255).

The byte signal from which the bit signal will be extracted.

BitSignal

The extracted bit signal.

  • Direction: OUT

  • Optional: False

Parameters

bitPosition

Position of the bit in the byte. The range is from 0 (LSB) until 7 (MSB).
