The system requirements of trace.check are listed in the following. Those are minimal requirements, if the system is worse a proper usage of trace.check cannot be guaranteed.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or 11, 64 bit

  • CPU: at least 4 cores

  • Free disk space: 8 GB

  • RAM: at least 16 GB recommended 32 GB

  • Screen resolution: at least Full HD (1920 x 1080) at 100% scale

    To use file paths longer than 256 characters on Windows, it is necessary to enable systemwide support for it (see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/fileio/maximum-file-path-limitation) Starting from Windows 10 version 1607 you have to create the registry key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\LongPathsEnabled resp. set its value to 1 (Type: REG_DWORD).
