CalculateButterworthFilter

ID: Calculate/SignalAnalysis/CalculateButterworthFilter

This template is applying the Butterworth filter on the selected signal and emits the resulting values to a signal.

For more information see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterworth_filter

Signals

Input

The signal to apply the filter to.

  • Direction: IN

  • Optional: False

Output

The filtered signal.

  • Direction: OUT

  • Optional: False

Parameters

FilterOrder

The order of the Butterworth filter. Per order of the filter the attenuation in the stop band is -6 dB per octave, -20 dB per decade.

  • Direction: IN

CutoffFrequencies

The cutoff frequency or frequencies. For lowpass and highpass filters, cutoff frequency must either be scalar of a 1-length sequence; for bandpass and bandstop filters, the cutoff frequency must be a 2-length sequence.

  • Direction: IN

FilterType

The type of filter. Allowed values are: - lowpass - highpass - bandpass - bandstop

  • Direction: IN

AllowedRelativeSamplingDeviation

The allowed relative deviation of the step size of the time axis. Each step is only allowed to deviate from the average step size by this relative margin. (0.1 means 10% deviation from average step size)
