CalculateSyncTime¶
ID: Calculate/Bus/CalculateSyncTime
Calculates the SyncTime transmitted according to the AUTOSAR Specifications of Time Synchronization over CAN / FlexRay / Ethernet (PTP) by combining the SyncTimeSec portion and the SyncTimeNSec portion.
For FlexRay and Ethernet (PTP), these portions are transferred within the same message. Therefore, the corresponding signals must have the same timestamps.
For CAN, these portions are transferred in individual messages (SYNC and FUP). Therefore, the corresponding input signals must have interleaved timestamps.
Please note: Due to limitations of the IEEE 754 floating point format, the result might lose accuracy compared to the input signals.
