EDIABAS¶

This category contains useful test steps for working with EDIABAS.

EdiabasLockBlock¶

If this test step is selected, a control device must be chosen. Then ecu.test starts the EDIABAS interface with the corresponding SGBD and keeps them connected. All EDIABAS jobs which then are entered into that block step can be carried out faster since no prior initialization is necessary. During that time any access to EDIABAS by other software is blocked.

Note: In the EDIABAS test bench configuration it is possible to specify exclusive API access which is valid for this test step throughout the use of ecu.test. That means if in the test bench configuration exclusive API access was activated, this test step has no function.
