General Structure of xml fileΒΆ

The structure of the FIU in ecu.test is defined using an XMLfile. Its structure is described in the following.

The pins are defined in the section PIN-INFO-SET. Therefore, a PIN element is defined for each pin to be provided. In this element is defined whether the pin is of type Master-Pin, Standard-Pin or Multipin. Additionally is to be defined which states should are to be supported by the pin ant which COM groups the pin is member of. Furthermore, a description can be set, which is shown as additional information in ecu.test.

The additional properties CANAL-NUMBER, MODULE-ID and BIT-COM1/BIT-COM2 are to be used depending on the used FIU. That is why they are not further describet at this point.

In the section MULTIPIN-MAPPING, multiple physical Standard-Pins can be assigned to a single Multipin. Therefore, a beforehand in section PIN-INFO-SET defined Multipin is assigned to a list of also beforehand in PIN-INFO-SET defined Standard-Pins. In ecu.test, only the Multipin will be provided to be switched, but on execution, all associated pins will be switched to the selected state instead.

Info

All associated pins have to support all states provided by the Multipin!
