Window “Messages”¶
The window “messages”¶
The output window (Messages) serves for information about current activities of trace.check. It shows all errors and messages available. A distinction is made between:
general information (blue),
debugging information (gray),
warnings (orange),
problems (red).
As regards problems there is, in most cases, additional information in the error log.
Individual messages can be selected and copied to clipboard by means of the context menu.
The use of a filter has the effect that only particular messages are shown in the window. What kind of messages should be shown in general can be determined in the main menu at .
If there are many outputs during trace analysis execution that may have a negative influence on running speed. To avoid that the window can be collapsed. Even when the window is not displayed directly all outputs continue to be recorded in the log file.
