Project editor¶

The symbol bar on top is available across all project tabs and consists of the following buttons (from left to right):

• Run project / Run project and execute analysis jobs in parallel

• Run project in background

• Check project

• Expand / Collapse all

• Create new project

• Open project

• Save project

• Save project as

• Cut

• Copy

• Paste

A right click on an element of the project tree opens a context menu with the following options:

• Open package (only for packages):

  Opens the selected package.

• Execute from here:

  Executes all further packages starting at the selected position. This makes it possible to (re)execute only part of a project.

• New ‣ Set of parameters (only for packages):

  Adds a new parameter set to the chosen package. Parameter sets serve to execute the package with redefined values for its variables. A package can contain any number of parameter sets. The package is executed exactly once per parameter set.

• Activate:

  Determines if the current element is to be executed. Thus it is easy to deactivate single elements without having to change a whole project.

• Document:

  Determines if a test report is to be made for the package. If this option is deactivated, the package will be executed but no details are to be found in evaluation.

The options Copy, Cut, Paste, Delete and Rename correspond to the familiar default functions.
