Function: Contains the settings from ecu.test agent.

analysisexecution.xml¶

Function: Contains the settings from Trace analysis.

Function: Contains the server settings for ecu.test lab in the settings section ecu.test lab.

Function: Contains the settings from ecu.test drive.

favorites.xml¶

Storage location: WORKSPACE/.workspace

Function: Stores paths to packages and projects contained in the Favorite explorer.

The list of favorites can be adapted also by modifications in this file instead of doing so in ecu.test.

filters.xml¶

Function: Contains the historie of used workspace and project editor filter.

Format: xml file

history.xml¶

Storage location: WORKSPACE/.workspace

Function: Contains the settings from History.

interactiveexecution.xml¶

Function: Contains the settings from Interactive test execution.

Format: xml file

manifest.xml¶

Storage location: WORKSPACE/.workspace

Function: Defines the metadata of the workspace and is used for Library workspaces.

pip.ini¶

Storage location: WORKSPACE/.workspace

Function: Adds configurations to the pip installation process.

Format: Windows ini file

pkgattr.spec¶

Storage location: WORKSPACE/.workspace

Function: This file represents the specification of all available attributes to characterize packages. The file content can be modified by adding new or remove existing definitions. It is recommended to use the Object API to make changes to this artifact: API for Attribute Specs.

Types of attributes:

• AttributeDef: Attribute with arbitrary string values

• ChoiceAttributeDef: Attribute with fixed set of value options. The definitions of options can be nested allowing them to be organized in a tree-like structure. Depending on the definition of the meta information, one or more options are selectable.

prjattr.spec¶

Function: This file represents the specification of all available attributes to characterize projects. For more details on attribute types, see pkgattr.spec.

Function: Contains the settings regarding report authenticity from Report.

Function: Contains the settings regarding project reports from Report.

Function: Contains the settings of test.guide.

units.spec¶

Storage location: WORKSPACE/.workspace

Function: ecu.test can convert between different units of the same dimension. This file contains the available units as well as formulas for conversion into an SI unit. Self-created units can be added. Furthermore, it is possible to specify that certain units are identical, e.g. rpm and Upm. When adding custom units, designations must be kept unique!

Hinweis: Error messages during execution of a test step always contain the basic unit.

utilities.ini¶

Storage location: WORKSPACE/.workspace

Function: Stores settings for software connected as test step to ecu.test. Here you can find, for example, paths to the start file of software. The different sections are created by ecu.test’s first use of the software concerned.

verdictmappings.xml¶

Function: Contains a list of predefined abort codes for the Exit- and Block test step.

Function: Contains the layout of the user interface.
