Specifics¶
The control characters “/n”, “/r” and “/t” can be passed as a string to the tool job “write”. If different control or non-printable characters are to be used the transfer parameter must be of the ByteStream type.
If the serial interface is a virtual USB COM port it can be identified through the device instance path. The COM port used will be automatically recognized. To activate that option it is necessary to select “virtual USB COM port” as COM port in the test bench configuration. In addition, the device instance path has to be indicated. It should be taken from the Windows device manager at connections-><device used> in tab “details” as property “device instance path”.
