Precondition for Port BUSACCESS usage

This software provides a limited bus access port to the TTXConnection. It is possible to manipulate signal values and to suppress routed bus frames.

To use the BUSSACCESS port, the TTXConnexion scenario must be created according to the following rules:

  • Frame-(de-)activation: For each frame one trigger, one variable and one manipulation function have to be defined.

    • The name of the variable has to match following pattern: BusName_FrameName_disable

    • The trigger is activated (“special condition (On)”) if the “disable” variable takes the value 1.

    • The manipulation function copies the input frame without alteration to the output as long as

      the Trigger is not active.

  • Signal manipulation: For each signal one trigger, two variables and one manipulation function have to be defined.

    • The names of the variables have to match the following patterns: BusName_FrameName_SignalName_switch, BusName_FrameName_SignalName_value

    • The Trigger is activated(special condition (On)), if the “switch” variable takes the value 1.

    • The manipulation function sets the output signal value to the value(raw) of the “value” variable whenever the corresponding Trigger is activated.

    • Two special treatments are implemented for Alive and CRC signals:

      • Alive signal values can be “frozen”. In this case a new trigger has to be defined, which is activated if the “switch” variable takes the value 2. Depending on this trigger, a new manipulation function has to set the output signal to the last value of the input signal while the trigger is active. The “value” variable is to be ignored.

      • CRC signal values can be “frozen” in the same way. Additionally, a third trigger which is activated whenever the “switch” variable is set to 3 enables the “Offset” operation: A new manipulation function adds an arbitrary (non-zero) offset to input signal. The “value” variable will be ignored.

Please note: The value used instead of the BusName place holder must correspond to the selected bus label (ignoring suffix) in the ecu.test test configuration.
