SpecificsΒΆ

To write a model parameter, you can use the variables in the tree node β€œ<Model Parameters>”. These variables are also listed in VeriStand in the β€œModel Parameter Manager”. After writing a variable, it can take a view milliseconds until the new value can be read from the signal. Parameters can not be recorded.

Aliases can be accessed via the tree node β€œ<Aliases>”. For aliases that point to a model parameter, direct writing is not supported. Please use the node β€œ<Model Parameters>” to manipulate such values.

With the node β€œ<Channel Fault Manager>” a signal can be forced to a specific value. By writing to a quantity listed under this node, a fault is applied to the coresponding signal. Subsequent Read test steps to that signal will then always return the specified value. Executing a Reset step on the faulted channel will remove the fault. The signal will then return its true value again when read. For more information on the usage of the Channel Fault Manager please refer to the VeriStand help.
