SpecificsΒΆ
This interface allows, by means of hardware, direct CAN and LIN bus access. It supports the test steps read signal, read/write signal group as well as monitor and supports signal recording, Raw diagnostics with KWP2000 over ISO-TP, the Mini residual bus simulation and Additional functions of the close-to-hardware bus connections.
Info
The APPLICATION ports can only be used with the Add-on ecu.test calibration
Supported drivers
PEAK PCAN-Basic
PEAK PLIN-API
In order to use the driver in ecu.test, the files PCANBasic.dll and PLinApi.dll
must be present in the directory %windir%/System32/.
Tested hardware:
Peak PCAN-USB
Peak PCAN-USB Pro
Peak PCAN-PC Card
Limitations
PEAK-Ports do not receive the messages they send themselves.
PCAN-PC Card ports can (as opposed to the ports of the USB devices) not be used simultaneously by ecu.test and PCAN-View
Using CAN and LIN on the same device at once requires setting the same ID for both controllers with the respective PEAK software.
