    Port IMAGE - DEFAULT 🛈¶

Default port for interaction with MGB frame grabbers

    Stimulation¶

This port has no stimulus capabilities.

    Specifics¶

With the tooljobs GetConfigProperties and SetConfigProperties the configurations that are also accessible via the webinterface of the MGB can be read and changed while running a test case. A list of the available options can be found on the Digiteq MGB online documentation or on the device itself at http://<MGB_IP>/manual/ctlsock.html#section_configuration_properties.

    Properties 🛈¶

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type

    Description

    IP address

    ‘192.168.1.200’

    string

IP address of the MGB framegrabber.

    Control port

    53000

    int

Port number to the Control Socket Protocol.

    Timeout

    10

    int

Timeout of the socket connection in seconds.

    Frame rate

    25

    int

Frame rate of the video signal.

    Video protocol

    ‘H264-MPEGTS-TCP’

    [‘H264-MPEGTS-TCP’, ‘JPEG-MUX-TCP’]

    string

    Protocol for video streaming.

    Show binary timestamp in video

    ‘manually’

    [‘view’, ‘hide’, ‘manually’]

    Display values:

    • ‘view’: ‘View’

    • ‘hide’: ‘Hide’

    • ‘manually’: ‘Manually’

    string

Adds the current time stamp of the frame grabber in binary format. “Manual” leaves existing (manual) configurations unchanged.

    Mirror image vertically

    ☐

    bool

Mirrors the image vertically for image reading test step and video streaming.

    Live preview

    ☐

    bool

Streams a live preview on the configured network port. The live stream is available under the toolhost’s IP address and the configured port, e.g. for a local tool connection: http://127.0.0.1:<port>

    Open preview window

    Live preview

    ☑

    bool

Opens a preview window upon loading the configuration. This window displays the current output of the image source as a livestream and will remain open as long as the test configuration is active.

    Port

    Live preview

    ‘<auto>’

    string

The network port that will be used for live streaming. Every live stream needs an unique port if live streaming is enabled for multiple video sources. If the value is set to <auto> a free network port will be defined by the system.

Show text overlay in video recordings

    ☐

    bool

Adds a text overlay with the format “timestamp package name” in the bottom left corner of video recordings.

    Jobs 🛈¶

    GetConfigProperties¶

Reads the settings of the grabber and saves them to a dictionary.

    Parameterization

    Parameter

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type

    Description

    properties

    []

    object

A list of settings whose current values are to be read by the device. If the list is empty, all settings are read.

    GetStatus¶

Returns the current status, such as firmware version or detected video resolution, of the grabber as a dictionary.

    Reboot¶

    Restarts the MGB.

    SetConfigProperties¶

Changes the settings of the Grabber.

    Parameterization

    Parameter

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type

    Description

    properties

    {}

    object

A dictionary with the settings that should be set. Settings that do not exist are ignored.

    SetVideoMarker¶

Places a 2x2 checkerboard marker in the upper right corner of the video stream for the specified number of frames.

    Parameterization

    Parameter

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type
