    Port SERVICEACCESS - UDP-RAW đŸ›ˆÂ¶

    UDP low level communication

    Stimulation¶

This port has no stimulus capabilities.

    Properties đŸ›ˆÂ¶

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type

    Description

    Port

    string

Name of the port inside a network. In Vector Hardware Config, the network-based mode must be activated.

    Filter in BPF format

‘(ip dst host [IP] or ip[16] >= 224) and ip proto \udp and src port [DEST-PORT] and dst port [SRC-PORT]’

    string

The identifiers [IP], [DEST-PORT], [SRC-PORT] in square brackets describe variables that are replaced with the corresponding value when the configuration is loaded. By default, filtering is based on the default source port as destination and the default receive port as source. [IP] corresponds to the port IP address. Caution: The filter may only filter UDP packets, since other transport protocols cannot be interpreted. VLAN filtering happens automatically when enabled. If UDP packets are transmitted in fragmented IP packets, there must be no filtering on ports.

    VLAN settings

    ‘no tagging’

    [‘no tagging’, ‘single tagging’]

    string

    Used VLAN setting

    VLAN-VID

    1

    int

Integer, only used if VLAN tagging is enabled

    Disable LibPcap buffering

    ☐

    bool

    Disable internal LibPcap buffering

    Receive buffer size

    1000

    int

Number of messages which can be recorded in the receive buffer (ring buffer)

Automatic data reception on test run

    ☑

    bool

Only operative if on the left for ‘Start’ either ‘Always’ is chosen, or ‘If necessary’ and the port is in use in the test configuration.

Path / file name for the PCAP/PCAPNG output file

Automatic data reception on test run

    string

PCAP or PCAPNG file (with absolute path). Recording is done into this file. Leave blank if no recording is desired.

    Default source MAC address

    ‘02:00:4C:4F:4F:50’

    string

Default MAC address to be used for Ethernet frames

    Default source IP address

    string

Default IP address to be used for IP packets

    Subnet mask for IP network

    string

Subnet mask for the IP Network (necessary in order to recognize broadcast addresses, e.g. for ARP)

    Default source port

    30490

    int

Default port to be used as source in the UDP header

    Default destination port

    30491

    int

Default port to be used as destination in the UDP header

    Jobs đŸ›ˆÂ¶

    ClearReceiveBuffer¶

Clears the ecu.test high-level receive buffer. Low-level buffers in the driver are not cleared.

    ReceivePacket¶

Returns a packet from the receive buffer and removes it from there

    Parameterization

    Return value

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type

    Description

    result

    string

Return value of type PacketUdp or NotPresent

    ReceiveSomeIpMessage¶

Returns a packet from the receive buffer, interprets it and filters the MessageId if necessary. If MultipleResults are enabled, a list with more than one object might be returned. The packet will be removed from the receive buffer.

    Parameterization

    Parameter

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type

    Description

    InterpretAs

    ‘PacketSomeIp’

    [‘PacketSomeIp’, ‘PacketSomeIpSd’]

    string

Specifies which class a package is to be interpreted by. A packet is only returned if it could be successfully interpreted.

    MessageId

    object

MessageIds which have to match for passing (empty / int / list with ints)

    MultipleResults

    False

    [False, True]

    bool

Boolean, if enabled a list with result objects will be returned

    Return value

    Name

    Available if

    Default value

    Valid values

    Type

    Description

    result

    string

Return value of specified type, list of it or NotPresent
