Specifics¶
The Selenium Tooladapter enables the control of different web browsers via port jobs. The desired browser and the corresponding web driver have to be installed and set in the test bench configuration options. Alternatively, it can also be downloaded automatically from the internet via Selenium Manager if the “<auto>” option is used. An overview of the available web drivers is provided at the Selenium online documentation. ecu.test supports following web browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox.
Caution
If the size and scale of text in the windows display settings is not set to 100% unexpected behavior might occur. Please make sure the text size is set to 100%.
Caution
For Edge, it might be necessary to add the additional command line argument –edge-skip-compat-layer-relaunch in the port settings. https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/issues/15340
