SpecificsΒΆ

Functionality of the connection to TornadoACI

KS Engineers: TornadoACI is a variant of ASAM: Generic ACI, customized to the functionality of Tornado.

KS Engineers: TornadoACI does not contain any specific adaptations for Tornado. Instead the communication is based 100% on the standardized interface ASAM ACI.

Due to this distributed responsibility in the communication between ecu.test as ACI client and Tornado as ACI server, we recommend for any questions regarding commissioning and problems with the use of KS Engineers: TornadoACI to also involve the customer support of KS Engineers.

Note

KS Engineers provides an excellent PDF document β€œUser’s Manual – ACI Server” for setup and configuration of the ACI server which can be found in the Tornado install directory.
