SpecificsΒΆ

  • To assist you connecting ecu.test with LabVIEW, we have written a tutorial that you can find in the section VI Integration.

  • Currently only the English and German versions of LabVIEW are supported. Using a version in another language may cause errors.

Info

Using clusters with ecu.test: Currently, it is not possible to read elements that are contained in clusters. To read such variables, you need to read the whole cluster. You then will get a list of values of the elements that are contained in the cluster. The same applies for writing values.

Info

Time stamp elements can currently only be read.

Info

Using non-ASCII-characters in the names of parameters and return values may cause in a wrong representation of the names in ecu.test. Please ensure that the VI is created on a PC running the same language version of Windows as it is executed. Alternatively restrict the names of parameters and return values to only ASCII characters.

Caution

When using LabVIEW 2021 an additional setting is needed to write Boolean arrays. The following entry has to be added to the LabVIEW.ini file located in the LabVIEW installation folder:

useFasterSafeArrayAccess=False

This setting is also recommended if it is unknown whether function variables of type Boolean array are used in the workspace.
