Specifics¶
Initial setup
The XIL API server must always be selected. If none is displayed, check the installation of the XIL API in your dSPACE installation manager.
In addition, you need to set:
the model directory if a model port is used.
the EES directory if an EES port is used
Licensing
This is the specific ASAM XIL connection for a dSPACE environment without using ControlDesk.
The following dSPACE licenses are required to use the dSPACE XIL API tool:
MODELLACCESS port: XIL API MAPort license (part of the Platform API Package)
ELECTRICERRORSIM port: XIL API EESPort license (part of the Failure Simulation Package)
