The referenced mapping item can be viewed or changed here.

Options

The kind of audio output and its parameters can be specified in this section.

Source Audio file

You can enter the File path to an existing audio file. The format has to be supported by AudioBlock .

Source Audioblock object

Object can be set to a Python expression that will evaluate to an object of type AudioBlock at runtime. This object will be used for audio output. For example, the object can be a test case variable from a previous Audio Read test step.

Source Text-To-Speech

Speech synthesis can generate an acoustic speech output from an input text. The setting Voice offers a selection from a dropdown of available voices. Each entry contains the text-to-speech service, the name of the voice, the language code as well as the voice’s gender. It is possible to include text-to-speech service with user code. These voices will also be listed in the dropdown. Further information are available on the help section on User defined speech output.

The Text input contains the text expression that will be used for speech output.

Pitch and Speed can be increased or reduced, if that functionality is available for the selected voice. The pitch can be regulated from the default value 0.0. For speed values larger than 0 are accepted. The value 1.0 is understood as normal speed. For example, with a value of 2.0 the speech output is twice as fast.
