Test steps tab¶

Test steps are a collection of elements for flow control, calculation and evaluation using variables and user-specific test steps. For the sake of transparency, they are grouped in folders of similar functions. By means of utlity-class templates an experienced programmer can generate them by himself and import them during runtime. That makes it possible to implement new functionalities in ecu.test very fast.

In order to insert a test step you right-click on it and use the opening context menu Insert test step.

The following sections describe the existing test steps in more detail.
