ControlDesk

Here the test steps referring to the HiL platform of ControlDesk are summarized.

RTT sequence administration

The test step RTT sequence administration serves to manage self-created real-time functions. First it can be chosen whether an action should concern one individual sequence or rather all sequences loaded at a time. At model a model loaded in ecu.test is selected as target. Additionally, a concrete board name can be specified as an option. If that field remains empty, the model will specify a name by itself.

At Action the action is selected that should be carried out. The first action is always Create: So a self-created function is loaded into the real-time core as a real-time sequence and held in standby position. It is necessary to save the sequence name returned by the model in a separate variable because the further control operations, such as start, stop, remove etc. are carried out through that name.

For carrying out several actions, the test step must be inserted into the test case several times.

The options supported for the different actions are shown by the following the table:

Info

The RTT sequence administration test step does not currently support dSpace ControlDesk versions 2024-B or later. As an alternative, you can run your own Python real-time scripts using the model port job ExecuteTargetScript.
