Port MODELACCESS - Default

Model access

Stimulation

The following LabCar-side restrictions apply:

  • Up to version 3.7.9, only STI 1.0 can be used for stimulation.

  • As of version 3.7.10, STI 2.0 is also supported.

  • The SignalValueSegment is not supported.

  • Only DAT and MAT files compatible with LabCar can be used as file reference.

  • Only ‘forward’ and ‘linear’ interpolation methods are supported.

It is mandatory to specify a stimulation task in the test bench configuration. Thereby the use of wildcards (* and ?) is not possible!

The value for “duration” must not be +INF, but must be set to a concrete numeric value.

Restrictions:

  • Stimulus input signals are not supported.

  • Trace files being referenced by a DataFileSegment in an STI file are not converted automatically by ecu.test.

  • It is up to the user to check whether the trace format being used is supported by the tool.

Supported execution modes

See also: Specifics of time modes

Preferred time source/mode: Real-time

Real-time:

To use real-time mode, the Test configuration in the Execution tab must be configured as the source ‘real time’.

Info

The following modes are not supported: Stepwise simulation time, Continuous simulation time

Description

Model file

string

Model file (.eew)

Default acquisition rate

‘Tool-Default’

string

Declaration of the measurement acquisition rate for signal recordings used as alternative in case no acquisition rate is set in the test step (’*’ and ‘?’ can be used as wildcard). “Tool-Default” activates the use of the standard acquisition rate of the tool. For reading signals, “Asynchronous RTPC Access” is always chosen.

SMF files

string

List of paths of the SMF files which should be used (empty if no SMF files available).

Paths can be absolute, relative to the model directory or relative to the tool host base path.

Parameter file paths

string

List of absolute paths of parameter files *.dcm and *.mpa to use (leave empty to use none).

Paths can be absolute, relative to the model directory or relative to the tool host base path.

Bypass reading buffer

☑

bool

If this option is set to True, all variables will be read directly from the real-time platform. However, if set to False, accessible values will be read over the LCO buffer. This speeds up the reading process (lower workload) but leads to less accurate values because the buffer is only updated every few (ca. 100) milliseconds.

Stimulation task

string

Stimulation task, that is used for playback of signal generators.

Switch signals before stimulation

☑

bool

Determines whether signals are switched to use the signal generator before or after starting the signal generator. True means before, False means after.

Explicitly address Inports

☐

bool

If set to “True”, “const” and “mode” suffixed elements will be inserted in to the model tree for each inport. Using those elements underlying inport signals can be manipulated explicitly. The implicit inport manipulations remain unaffected.

Device used by signal generators

‘RTPC’

string

Name of the device used for uploading signal generators.

GetFilenamesOfLastRecording

Returns the file paths of the last recording.
