Port MODELACCESS - DEFAULT¶
Model access
Stimulation¶
This port has no stimulus capabilities.
Supported execution modes¶
See also: Specifics of time modes
Preferred time source/mode: Continuous simulation time
- Real-time:
To use real-time mode, the Test configuration in the Execution tab must be configured as the source ‘real time’.
- Continuous simulation time:
To use the continuous simulation mode, the port in the Test configuration in the Execution tab must be selected and the mode set to ‘continuous’.
Info
The following modes are not supported: Stepwise simulation time
Properties 🛈¶

Valid values |
Type |
Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Time resolution [ms] |
10.0 |
float |
Resolution of the simulation time in milliseconds (simulation step size). Whenever this period of time has elapsed in the simulation, Vector SIL Kit will inform ecu.test about the current simulation time. The time resolution should roughly be in line with the values that other participants in the simulation use. |
||
Limit the simulation speed |
☐ |
bool |
If the model time in Vector SIL Kit runs significantly faster than system time, problems may occur in some cases. If you observe packet loss, unexpected timeouts, cycle times that cannot be kept etc., then this option should be activated. |
||
Maximum ratio of model time to system time |
Limit the simulation speed |
1.0 |
float |
Limit the speed of the model time to this factor of the system time. If the limit is exceeded, ecu.test will delay the simulation accordingly. |
Jobs 🛈¶
GetSimulationTime¶
Determines the current simulation time in the Vector SIL kit if the model port was selected as time source in the TCF
